The Weirdos And The Oddballs (1971)

August 17th, 2016

Loopy Zora and her mopey kvetch spouse Sasha are a pair of middle-aged deviates who are despairing for kicks. The couple place an ad in "The Village Voice" claiming to be certified sex therapists and continue to receive it on with the oddball clients who show up at their home seeking treatment for their raunchy problems.

Writer/director Eduardo Cemano maintains a breathless brisk pace and pitches the off the wall humor at a suitably craziest pitch during the time that still covering all the hot'n'steamy carnal bases that include lesbianism, voyeurism, oral pleasure, rug munch, str8 act of love, and, natch, the inevitable climactic fuckfest. Better still, the sweethearts are very handsome and enticing: buxom and well-built angel Jutta David and foxy small dark brown Betty Colman are absolute palatable treats as they perform various raunchy feats with genuinely arousing go-for-it aplomb. Moreover, the game cast attack the zany material with real gusto: Sharp has a ball with her soaked part, Lincoln frets up a storm with often sidesplitting results, and legendary 70's porn fellow Harry Reems contributes a hilarious turn as a chap who suffers from premature jizz flow. The playful lighthearted tone keeps things easy'n'breezy through. Cemano's trademark lively hand-held cinematography provides an additional kinetic buzz. The kewl use of jaunty classical music cues also hits the energetic spot. A total hoot.
